A Celtic Christmas
home tour dates wares booking and contact

Following the rousing success of Tomáseen Foley’s A Celtic Christmas, he now presents Tomáseen Foley’s IRISH TIMES.

In the remote parish of Teampall an Ghleannáin, Tomáseen’s birthplace, the neighbors would gather at the crossroads and in homes for céilí dances during the matchmaking and marrying seasons, for weddings and wakes, and sometimes for no reason at all other than an abiding sense that, truly, one could live only “in the shelter of your neighbors.”

Tomáseen Foley’s IRISH TIMES recreates just such a time, raising the rafters with fiery traditional music, song, dances, and storytelling; featuring William Coulter, Grammy-award winning guitarist; Kathleen Keane on fiddle, tin whistle, and vocals (The Chicago Tribune calls her “one of the world’s finest Irish fiddlers”); Brian Bigley on uilleann pipes, whistle, low whistle, flute, and world champion-level Irish dance; and Tomáseen Foley, native Irish storyteller.
